Crackdown on Digital Exploitation in Roraima

The Civil Police of Roraima (PCRR) initiated a meaningful operation on Friday morning in the Buritis neighborhood aimed at confiscating electronic devices from a businessman named J.S.L., aged 27. He is under investigation for allegedly distributing private videos of his former girlfriend.

Case Overview

As per the statements from DEAM’s delegate Kamilla Basto, the victim had been in a relationship with J.S.L. for almost three years before their separation last August.

“Shortly after their breakup, she discovered that he had shared intimate videos from their time together at a social gathering. Furthermore, about five months after they parted ways, she was informed by a mutual acquaintance that he had shown these videos at a rural location while they were still involved,” Basto elaborated.
