Crackdown on Child Exploitation in Roraima

The Civil Police of Roraima (PCRR) initiated a notable operation on the morning of April 7th through its Child and Adolescent Protection Department (DPCA). This operation aimed to execute a search warrant at the home of N.R.D.S., a thirty-year-old resident of the Senador Hélio Campos neighborhood in Boa Vista. He had been arrested just days prior on allegations related to child pornography.

Inquiry Overview

This action is part of an ongoing inquiry into the mysterious disappearance of three teenagers—two aged fourteen and one fifteen—who were reported missing by their families at the end of March.

No Illegal Materials Discovered

During this judicially sanctioned search at N.R.D.S.’s residence,no illegal items were found. however, during his arrest on April frist, investigators discovered alarming content on his mobile device. This included images and videos showing minors in compromising positions and also links to online forums dedicated to sharing child pornography.
The files also contained covert recordings of the missing teenagers taken while they were bathing at his home. The victims reported that he had invaded their privacy by entering bathrooms while they were undressed and had made offers for them to produce sexual content for monetary compensation.

Admission from the Suspect

DURING INTERROGATION BY THE AUTHORITIES, N.R.D.S confessed to having videos featuring these girls but claimed that it was a cousin who recorded them. He further admitted to purchasing pornographic materials involving minors and engaging with networks that distribute such content.

Court Actions Taken

N.R.D.S was apprehended during this operation and subsequently faced a custody hearing where preventive detention was mandated against him. Investigations are ongoing with efforts concentrated on uncovering all details surrounding this case and ensuring accountability for all involved parties.
