The dollar closed the last session down 1.34%, quoted at R$ 5.60. This is the lowest level since October 14, 2024, when the currency was quoted at R$ 5.58.
The session was marked by global relief, in addition to a search for riskier assets.
The inflation data in the United States was in line with projections, which contributed to the result. Furthermore, the ceasefire in trade tensions helped financial agents see a greater chance of a lighter downturn in the American economy.
The euro, in turn, closed around R$ 6.26.
